Devon Grit

The East Devon Gravel Ride offers an epic challenge for gravel bikes, mountain bikes (MTBs), cyclocross bikes, and e-bikes. With routes tailored to take in the best gravel trails of East Devon, including Woodbury Common and the Exe Estuary Trail, this event promises breathtaking scenery and demanding terrain. Participants can choose from the Extreme, Full, Standard, or Mini routes. The Full route is only 12K longer than the Standard, but it includes Core Hill, the toughest climb of the ride. The course is designed to be ridden on gravel bikes but is also suitable for cyclocross or lightweight XC mountain bikes. The event is not suited for road bikes, and a minimum tire width of 35mm is recommended, with 40mm+ being ideal.
