Davis Tiger Roar Race 5K

Event

We encourage our Davis families and community to come out and participate in our FUN 5k event! 

All kids need to be accompanied by an adult.  

No dogs allowed at the event. 

Time

The race will begin promptly at 8:00 A.M. with a warm-up starting at 7:30. 

Age group winners will be announced at 9:15

Davis Elementary School

2433 Jamerson Rd, Marietta, GA 3006 

The race will start and end at the Davis Elementary School bus lane parking lot.

Warm-ups will be held on the Davis Elementary bus lane parking lot.

Registration 

Online registration will end 11:59 on Thursday November 2nd, 2023. Onsite registration will be available for $40 and will only accept cash, Venmo, or check (t-shirts not guaranteed).  

Parking

Parking will be located at the front of Davis Elementary School. Additional parking will be Mountain View Church 2300 Jamerson Rd, Marietta, GA 30066. 

Please arrive early to get to the start line by 7:50. Fun energetic warm-ups begin at 7:30!! 

T-Shirts

T-shirts will be guaranteed to participants who register by 11:59 October 19th, 2023. 

Weather

The 5k will occur rain or shine. In the event of severe weather conditions, we will notify you via email and the status will be posted on the registration website. 

Refunds

The Davis 5k will NOT be refundable and NO transfers from person-to person/ year-to-year. We understand things happen, but we have a strict NO refund policy. Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to extreme conditions such as weather. Registration fees are not refundable in the event of the race cancellation due to “Acts of God” or things outside of the control of the Race Director.

Packet Pick Up 

Packet pick-up will be located at the front of Davis Elementary from 5:00-7:30 PM on November 3, 2023. You will receive your bib and t-shirt. You may also pick up on race day from 6:30-7:30 AM at bus port near the starting line.

Timing

Live Results will be accessible via QR code found on your race bib when you cross the finish line. The race will be timed by Elite Race Timing. Each participant will receive a race bib with a timing chip attached to the bib. Results will be provided at the finish line and will be posted to Eliteracetiming website immediately following the race at www.Eliteracetiming.com. 

Water Stations

Water stations will be located throughout the course. We encourage each participant to bring their own water bottle. At the end of the finish line there will be more water and post-race snacks. 

First Aid

In the event of an emergency, immediately notify one of on-site medical volunteers or a police officer

Restrooms

Restrooms will be located inside of Davis Elementary school. Please use the cafeteria doors in the bus port to access and look for the signs directing to the restrooms.
