About the event
The Municipality of Alonissos is excited to host the Alonissos Challenge 2019 on Sunday, 16th June. This event will bring together runners and athletes from all over Greece and abroad to explore the stunning beauty of the island of Sporades while running or walking on different paths. There will be three races: 30 km, 10 km, and 2 km, and one 15 km path for walkers. The start and finish of all races will take place at the port of Patitiri in Alonissos. Competition Program:
Saturday 15th of June 2019: Welcome of the participants, supply of technical information and distribution of participation package at the Alonissos Cafe down in the harbour.
Sunday 16th of June 2019:
08:00 - Start 30 km.
08:30 - Start 10 km and 15 km walkers.
11:00 - Start 2 km.
11:45 - Awards’ ceremony.
