Stand together on September 14,2024 in support of Nicole Pinelli and all those who are in the fight against breast cancer. Lace up, fundraise, create a team or come solo! Your strides will benefit Nicole's charity,  Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, where she is receiving treatment. 

RACE: September 14, 2024 at 8:30am for both 5k timed and 1 mile untimed

 WEATHER
The event will go on rain, shine or snow and no cancellations. In the event of severe weather on race morning, we will communicate any changes to the schedule or race with all registered athletes via email, social media, and at the event.

On June 8, 2023 I was diagnosed with inflammortory HER2+ breast cancer. Since then I have undergone 6 treatments of chemo, had a mastectomy, done 25 rounds of radiations and receives infusion every 3 weeks.  My journy so far would not have been possible without my supportive family, friends and community. I am grateful to all of you for supporting the cure efforts. Thank you for the bottom of my heart and from the hearts of my family and dear friends for supporting this extraordinarily important cause.  My Goal for this 5k is to raise $10,000.00 for Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University! Thank you everyone! Nicole
