French Riviera Marathon Nice-Cannes

First marathon and this was the best experience. Plenty of hydration stations, fruits, sugars, and bathrooms. Beautiful views, clear skies, and perfect weather (70 Fahrenheit). The race ended at a private beach with massages and other fun activities. I don’t know French, but lots of international runners and fun signs. Absolutely loved this race!

The race was a straight path from Nice to Cannes. Beautiful route through villages, valleys, and beaches.

Очень красивая трасса. Еда через каждые 5 км. Есть стойки с дополнительной водой. Организация так себе. После финиша упираетесь в толпу, которая движется очень медленно.

The actual run and route is beautiful and one I would recommend. I do think that there are areas which should be improved, these are as follows: toilet facilities at the start are not enough and therefore people were delayed in getting to their pens, there are limited toilets en route, There are not enough water stations particularly for a marathon in a hot environment, and I would suggest that the marathon would benefit from offering wet sponges to participants. The transport that was offered was very good, the middle is nice, the finish area is nice and there are a lot of refreshments. Before the marathon, I have to say that I enjoyed the expo. I did sign up for the after party at the hotel, when I went it felt like more of a bingo convention with the layout as it wasn’t a very sociable set up with multiple long tables, so when people arrive, they just sat in their groups and didn’t speak to other people. The food at the after party was quite disappointed, I would have rather have paid a bit more to get something more substantial having just completed such a long run, and the band was quite dated and not loud enough for a party. I would be tempted to run this marathon again, I would take with me additional water for the run next time, and I wouldn’t sign up to go to the postmarathon party again.

Great place to visit and run, nice weather and a unique route! Cheerful crowd, a lot of people running. Experience of a life time.. Everyone should try it.

Fantastic race! Beautiful route! So so well organised and fantastic recuperation lounge at the finish line! Supporters were enthusiastic along the way and there were plenty water stops and snack points along the way which made all the difference on the heat!

Most beautiful route along the coast, passing through a number of small towns. The route was also nice and flat

Le marathon était vraiment super, et incroyablement beau. ☀️ Vraiment c’est un marathon que je n’oublierai pas et que je ferai à nouveau! Très bien organisé, tout c’est bien passé et j’ai pu profiter de chaque instant. 😁 Seul point à améliorer, après la ligne d'arrivée, nous avons dû attendre debout 15 mn pour notre médaille et le t-shirt car le sas était trop petit et les médailles étaient distribuées une par une. Pas du tout agréable après 42 kilomètres 😅

F-ing windy and therefore tough to run, but the most amazing view along the coast! Breathtakingly beautiful start to sunrise in Nizza!

perfect view, organization and community

Could do with more toilets at the beginning - Pity there was no snack provided as soon as you finished .Very tired and had to hobble ,lightheaded to the very end just to get a snack.

Communication and organization was great ! Sadly the weather did not cooperate as it rained cats and dogs especially at the beginning. The expo was cool and there were nice freebies. In terms of location and views the marathon was amazing. I would love to run it again with better weather.

Great course, flat for the most part. Nice turn out of fans which helps to push Along. The water and snack stops were very frequent and the course was clearly marked throughout. If you don’t like big crowds be prepared for a crowded start and finish. However the amount of people around is nice because you will be surrounded by people the whole time. I was struggling at the end to finish and two different people lifted my spirits and helped me to finish off.

RUNNING AT RIVIERA WITH RAIN AND STORM

Bonne organisation sur le parcours (ravito, bénévoles), mais moins autour (communication, consigne, transport) où ça manquait de coordination et d'efficacité ! Mais le parcours est très beau, même sous l'orage ;)

Fantastico percorso a bordo mare! L'arrivo a Cannes sulla Croisette, in mezzo a due ali di folla, è stato veramente emozionante!
