Drumstick Dash Thanksgiving Day Events

 Lots of races for the whole family!

The Drumstick Dash 10K is a great way to work up your Thanksgiving Day appetite.  Two laps around Lake Harriet on a USATF Certified course.  The race is chip timed by Mtec Results.  Participants have a choice of receiving no shirt, a long sleeve shirt or a sweatshirt.  There are some hills so count on a good appetite for fun. Register early to reserve your spot.

The Pi Run is the one lap option around Lake Harriet.  Just a little more than 5K - 3.14159 miles - so you have room for a little more of your favorite Thanksgiving treat.  The Pi Run has the same start line, start time, and finish line as the Drumstick Dash 10K.  You just get to stop after one lap! The race is chip timed by Mtec Results. Participants have a choice of purchasing no shirt, a long sleeve shirt or a sweatshirt.  Register early to reserve your spot.

The Cranberry Cruise One Mile is a fun run and a great warm-up to your Thanksgiving Day for $10 registration.  Check your time by the clock at the finish!  Participants in the One Mile have a choice to purchase a beanie for $10.  Strollers are permitted in the Cranberry Cruise Mile.

The Cranberry Kids Half Mile is great for kids.  It's a flat, easy half-mile on the west side of Lake Harriet.  Registration is only $10, and participants have a choice to purchase a beanie for $10.  Every youth will receive a medal.  Parents are welcome to run with kids at no additional cost.
 

Race Fees

Participants in all the Drumstick Dash 10K and the Pi Run have the option to receive NO giveaway for our lowest race fee of $50.  Participants who would like to receive a shirt can do so for an additional $10 ($60 total registration fee).  Participants who prefer to receive a sweatshirt can do so for an additional cost of $25 ($75 total registration fee).  

Participants in the Cranberry Cruise Mile and Half Mile have the option to receive NO giveaway for our lowest race fee of $10.  Participant who would like to receive a winter beanie hat can do so for an additional $10 ($20 total registration fee).

Participants who choose the NO giveaway option may purchase a giveaway at packet pick-up.  However, sizes will be based on availability and there is no guarantee we will have all sizes.

Location

All events are at Lake Harriet in South Minneapolis. The Drumstick Dash 10K and Pi Run feature chip timing.  We have options for No shirt, Shirt, and Sweatshirt. The Cranberry Cruise Mile Run and the Cranberry Kids Half Mile are fun runs and there is an option to purchase a winter beanie.

Charity Partners

Drumstick Dash is pleased to announce that Mile in My Shoes is continuing as our Charity Partner in 2023. Mile in My Shoes (MiMS) brings people from diverse backgrounds together through the power of running. MiMS run mentors are paired with people experiencing homelessness and other barriers. Drumstick Dash participants can support MiMS through direct donations at registration and also as FundRacers. PLEASE register as a FundRacer at www.mileinmyshoes.mn before signing up for the race.  You will receive information on special race discounts.

Field Limits

The total field for the Drumstick Dash 10K and Pi Run will be limited to a total of 850.  This will allow us to stage a staggered start with plenty of room for social distancing and to let you spread out on the course.  All participants are encouraged to pick up their race packets in advance of race day.  No Refunds.

Please note that all entries are final. No refunds will be given for race entry fees for any reason.
