Join Valpo Parks for the annual 4th of July Blast 5K Run/Walk through downtown Valparaiso and burn some calories before heading to your afternoon barbecue!  

Overall &  Age Group Awards – Top Overall Male & Top Overall Female, Top Masters Male & Top Masters Female, Top 3 Male and Female in the following age groups: 14 & under,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and up.

4th of July Blast 2K Fun Run/Walk

Perfect for families and younger participants! The FUN run/walk will start and finish at the Starting Line of the 5K and will begin at 9:10AM. This is a non-competitive event that will not be timed. Finisher medals & shirts will be given to all participants! The course will close at 10AM.

Packet Pick Up Participants may pick up their packets at Extra Mile Fitness, 3400 N. Calumet Ave., Valparaiso, IN on June 27th and 28th.Day of pickup will start at 6:30am on site.   Register by 6/16 to guarantee a shirt and/or medal.  No shirt option saves $5.
