The Downtown Mile for CASA is a family-friendly and fun Saturday evening race to support Rappahannock Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) on Saturday, September 7th, 2024. All proceeds will benefit the Rappahannock Area CASA, a local non-profit organization that supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so that every child who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home, and have the opportunity to thrive. Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Championship Event

We are very excited to host the 2023 RRCA Virginia State 1 Mile Championship! Especially exciting is showing runners from all over the state of Virgina, our charming, historical town of Fredericksburg! RRCA State Championship Awards will be given to

Top Open Finishers Male/FemaleTop Masters (40+) Finisher Male/FemaleTop Grand Masters (50+) Finisher Male/FemaleTop Senior Grand Masters (60+) Finisher Male.Female

Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series: The Downtown Mile is the 7th race in the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series. All finishers will receive points toward the 12-race series.

Location: 324 William St, Downtown Fredericksburg

Race Waves:

6:00 pm - Wave 1 Women ages 15 and up

6:15 pm - Wave 2 Men ages 15 and up

6:30 pm - Wave 3 Youth ages 6-14

6:45 pm - Family Fun Mile This wave is open to all ages, families who wish to participate together, parents with strollers, walking participants, etc.

Shirts are guaranteed for participants who register prior to August 20, 2024.

Packet Pickup - Lucky Road Run Shop, Friday, September 6th from 4-6 pm. Race Day Packet Pickup begins at 4:30 pm.

Race Day Registration and packet pickup will be held from 4:30 - 6 p.m. on Saturday. Register on your smartphone or tablet at the event. Shirts are only guaranteed to those who register by August 20th.
