Pothole Roubaix (Maine Gravel Series)

Welcome to the inagural Pothole Roubaix! This has been several years in the making and we are pleased to make it a reality.  This route will start on the road and head into the Bangor City Forest.  From there we will access several trail systems with a rest stop on the way, approximately halfway through.  There are also gas stations and general stores to top off supplies if needed.  There are a few different route options and both are great.  

Orono Brewing Company has graciously agreed to host the event, registration opens at 9:00 AM. There will be bathrooms available at the start. Riders meeting at 9:45 AM and the ride leaves at 10:00 AM.  At the conclusion of the ride we encourage you to stick around and mingle, have some good food and good beers. 

All proceeds with be donated to the Penobscot Region NEMBA to support two new flow trails being built in the Orono Land Trust. There will also be opportunities to make donations directly to NEMBA.
