Nafplio Marathon

Nafplio, also known as Anapli, is the capital of Argolida Regional Unity and a major port of the eastern Peloponnese. It is a beautiful city that was the capital of Greece from 1828 to 1833. Its historical centre is renowned for its traditional architecture. According to ancient Greek mythology, the city was founded by Nafplion, the son of the god Neptune and Amymonis.
