Ghouls and Gears XXC

Ocelot Timing presents Ghouls and Gears to be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Little Bennett Regional Park.  This is an afternoon race. 

The final event is the Ghouls and Gears Lighted Parade Lap.  One lap around the course as the sunsets. Lights are required and encouraged!!

CHILDREN UNDER 9 CAN PARTICIPATE WITH ACCOMPANYING ADULT.

Prizes for best illuminated bike for adults and for kids.

Prizes for best costume for adults and kids.

$5 discount if you register for Parade Lap in addition to any other category.

Race Notes: 

Pickup number plate at check-in table. Check-in is from 1:30pm - 2:30pm

LATE REGISTRATION IS FROM 1pm - 2pm. Late registration fee is $50 for adults and $45 for juniors. LATE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 2PM.

You must sign the race waiver online in order to participate.  

Racers are expected to self-support for mechanicals and nutrition for the duration of the race.   There will be an aid station/pit area where hydration will be provided.  

The trails are open to other users such as hikers, runners, cyclists, and horse riders.  While we provide advance notice about the race, but you may encounter others on the course.  Please be courteous and pass other trail users carefully.  

Weather Policy:  MNCPP-MC Parks and Ocelot Timing and Events has the discretion to hold the the race depending on weather conditions on the day of the race, as well as current course conditions.  If there is wet weather/rain preceding the start, or forecast for race day, we will communicate race status to participants as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy:  If we are not able to host the race due to regulatory or weather conditions, your registration fee will be refunded less prorated expenses we cannot recover.
