We really love hot laps, Haute laps, and the NASCAR feels of a short course turn n burn - so we proudly humbly present, FRIDAY NIGHT SHORT TRACK numero uno: Pine Camp.

*a reminder, disclaimer, and warning to serious business folks - this is a for-fun series, ride at your own risk, no points except style points event. Not an official thing, just a great way to blow off the work week, gather in the woods for an “opener” for whatever you got going on Saturday. Fast times with friends, etc.

For this particular installment, we're heading to Pine Camp. Ride in, drive in, but generally aim yourself toward Roy West Park off of Forest Lawn drive. Look for the big rocks blocking off the old fireroad - we'll be there in the cut. Catch us outside.

Riders will be taking FIVE laps of the .75 mile long short loop, seeking their fastest overall combined lap time.

Find us and check in, we'll kick things off at 6:30.
SPECTATING HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. Come out and cheer your homies on. There are multiple great features to spectate - off camber turns, jumps, berms, and that freaky little bamboo forest. Get out there and bring two friends while you're at it.

PRIZE WISE:
1st place for each category gets a special prize, and gets their $15 entry fee refunded to them. 2nd place gets a hug. 3rd place gets a handshake. The real winners are the friends we make along the way.

This ride is basically the opposite of mtncat100, its mtncat-sub5, but works in the same vein…monies collected for entry fees go back to the community, not into our pockets. This round is rolling to Richmond Cycling Corps, ask me more about them if you haven't heard of em.
