DoitforDane - Dash for Dane Family Day & 5K Trail Run

The THIRD annual Dash for Dane Family Day & 5K Trail Run will be held at Powisset Farm in Dover, MA on Saturday, May 18th. Not into trail running/walking? There will be activities for all: 1K kids run, crafts, tie dye, face painting, live DJ, local pizza and drinks!

This event serves to honor Dane's competitive spirit and passion for gathering his friends and family. It is also part of DoitforDane's larger fundraising effort to raise awareness and bring an end to Crohn's & Colitis and colorectal cancer and to support other charitable causes that best embody Dane's core values of Family, Fun, and healthy living. Dane, who battled Crohn's & Colitis for much of his adult life, passed away on January 25, 2022, aged 39, following a courageous nine-month battle with stage 4 colorectal cancer. In his short time on Earth, Dane created a legacy of kindness, generosity, happiness, and light.

Please join us at beautiful Powisset Farm to gather with friends, family, neighbors and soon to be friends, for a morning of good company, healthy competition, local food and drinks and of course a moment of reflection in honor of Dane.

And please remember to get screened for colorectal cancer if you are 45 or older or otherwise at risk! #dotifordane

Fee: $35 for 5K entry (Free T Shirt for those registering prior to race day while supplies last).
Free entry for Deiter Dash - 1K for kids.
