Ask anyone who came last year what it is.....

This is an unsanctioned race - NO LICENSE REQUIRED!

Please don't make us have to change your category to make you race your peers, because we'll do it in an embarassing way.

The Deal

The venue is the really cool one that Crosstobeerfest is at except most of the course is on the other side, where it's too dark for a night race.  There are trails, ups, downs, berms, run-ups, run-downs, logs, man-eating squirrels, etc.

We also have music, craft beer, and a food truck so there will be no reason to leave after your race.  Unless you race in the last race, you'll then have to go home after you race.

The Donut Madison Relay pb Colonial Donuts

The last "race" is the Donut Madison Relay.  We'll shorten the course down to only include the wooded section that's near the Start/Finish.  Teams of two will relay race.  The "waiting" racer will consume an entire donut when his/her partner returns before starting their lap, and so on.  This event is the final party of the day and is 20 minutes of hilarity.

One person registers both team members.  The other team member needs to complete their registration via an email that gets sent.  Don't forget!

Bring A New and Un-Wrapped Toy

On this same day every year Spark has held their annual Turkey Chase, an event designed to collect toys for the CCHS National Honor Society Toy Drive.  The thought is that we can collect way more toys with this CX race so please prove us right and bring one.  All toys must be new.  Please don't wrap them.

Toys For Tots doesn't distribute toys in this area so we choose to support a different program.  How it works is Coycle & Cassidy High School's National Honor Society has a database of area families in need.  Parents "shop" for the toys while their children attend a Christmas party.  The toys are then wrapped by CCHS NHS students so that they can come from Santa.

Race Day Registration is an additional $10

If you have to ask what category you should register in you are probably a NOVICE.  If you always win by a significant margin or have at any time worn special stripes then you are an ELITE.  If you know your USAC category then consult that, unofficially.
