Billy Cordova Memorial Park 5K & Family Fun Run & Walk

Join us for a family-friendly event to raise funds for the First Responders of Buena Vista!  We welcome all runners, walkers, joggers, and everything in between! The month of May is First Responders Month, and we would love for you to join us! 

Our 5K and Family Fun Run will start and finish at BV Rodeo Grounds, and the course will travel to, and through, the location for the park.  The 5K will have a 3.1 mile course, and the Family Fun Run will have a 1.5 mile course.  Runners will wind through the Sunset Vista neighborhood, back to the BV Rodeo Grounds for a grand finish! 

Both events will start at 10 am (new for 2024)!  We encourage families to join together, bring strollers, wagons, and backpacks to ensure that our young runners make the whole course!  This course is stroller friendly!  There may be a few bumpy sections on trail, but overall it's very smooth. Our babies who join along in strollers can just enjoy the ride (no registration necessary for them).  

Race Shirts:
All participants of the 5K & Family Fun Run WILL receive a race shirt which is included in your registration.

Registration Limits:
Registration will be capped at a certain number (to be determined).  It will stay open to race day as long as there are still spots available!
