Dive into open water ocean swimming with the Murray Half, a new addition honoring Avalon Beach Patrol's Captain Murray Wolf. This exciting event takes you along the same course used by county lifeguards, with a thrilling running beach start. Embrace the tradition with a challenging course, on-site rescue teams, and the chance to compete alongside current and former guards. Your entry includes a custom swim cap and event-branded apparel. Wetsuits are allowed but you must forego awards if worn. Proceeds benefit the Avalon Beach Patrol Alumni Association, continuing a celebrated legacy. Chip timing is provided for all participants.
