The Lanzarote Marathon was my 107th Marathon and my 3rd run Club trip!! Miles of stunning ocean scenery along the coast. The most unique and best marathon out there. From Booking the marathon to getting back on the flight we were looked after by Rayan of Sands beach resort who 100% made the experience incredible again!!! The Race!! aid stations were frequent, each 2.5km aporx, and well-stocked, and the crowd support in the towns and along route were great. Pace runners were great and done there job perfect. The scenery alone is worth the trip! I have now done this Marathon for the last three years and it remains my favourite races as like my running group. Running in the sun 23C in December is a great feeling and a relief from the British winter. All i can say is see you in 2024 on the start line. Massive thanks to the Amazing Ryan and the team at sands Beach Active.

What an awesome race! The Lanzarote Marathon was unlike any other running event I've done. Miles of stunning ocean scenery along the coast, pretty whitewashed villages, all surrounded by those iconic Lanzarote mountains. Definitely one of the most unique and beautiful marathon routes out there. The local organizers did a stellar job putting it all together. The aid stations were frequent, each 2.5km aporx, and well-stocked, and the crowd support in the towns was energizing. Definitely a fun, laidback race atmosphere. If you want to run an epic destination marathon while soaking up Lanzarote's one-of-a-kind nature, this is the one for you. The incredible island scenery alone is worth the trip! I'll definitely be back to experience that volcanic beauty again. I have now done this Half Marathon for the last three years and it remains one of my favourite races. Running in the sun 23C in December is a great feeling and a relief from the British winter.

What a fantastic event! One of the best I've had the pleasure to run. The crowds were epic! Music, scenery, people, signs and the encouragement was spectacular. The expo was easy to manage. The pre race staging and setup was 1st class. Signage was everywhere and plenty of helpful people when needed. Well prepared expo at the end of the race with food and drink. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great run along the beautiful coastline of Lanzarote!
