A great Marathon experience. great route through the city and countryside. lots of crowds along the route, well stocked fuel stations with funky water sponges and beer at the finish. Good party atmosphere at the finish.

Great Finish along the canals, Cobble stones can be a bit heavy on the knees.

pros - great route, amazing locations, very enthusiastic crowd cons - at times the track was very narrow, results after 2 weeks are not uploaded yet! the whole event is organised for dutch people, is not an international event, the website of marathon is partially translated in english

I only ran the 10K but there wasn't anything to NOT LIKE about this race, WELL organized, free bag and tag (very secure) gorgeous route, with NON STOP CHEERING along the route and entertainment through out as well, what a fantastic race, TOP RATED!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this one. Make sure to pay extra for the shirt, nice quality.

The 10K was crowded at the start, but after about 4K in, it started to be a bit more manageable to get thru the narrow streets better. The route was awesome, perfect race.

5 km

The 5 km race was held at night. Even so, the route was very well lit and it was possible to see the city's windmills illuminated.

The race course was fantastic in both the 5km and 10km and I managed to place 3rd in my age group for those born in 1975.

Good course; Friendly crowds

Very nice course with supporters in every village we came through, but coming together with the half marathon & later the 5k made the last 3km to the finish actually more crowded than the actual start so not possible to go for it the last 800 meters.

Very nice course but with the expected heat waterpoints not that good and frequent. Refill stations perhaps better so you could refill your water bottle or camel bags. After the finish you were trapped which could have contributed to participants collapsing.

Getting the running number before the event was quick with friendly staff. Route was nice and had different atmosphere from inner city to suburb, fields and communities. Water stations were too far under this kind of weather (5k each) though completed with water, energy drink, fruits. Too crowded at the finish line and especially at Beer station cos the difficulty to move forward. Baggage return was very slow due to understaff. Some runners collapsed while waiting for the bags (after hours of running under the hot weather. However, staffs are service-minded and friendly.

I'm happy with the distance.

Course was flat and crowds were supportive. 10AM start was unwise – Temperature was 25C already. (9AM would be far better!) Bag Pickup was dreadfully slow. Option to purchase 2023 T-Shirt for €5 was nice.

Course was 250-300m long in my estimation.

Great small scale event. Despite the heat, the organization stepped up and made sure everyone was properly hydrated. The course is great, showcasing some nice dutch villages and landscape.

The organisation was great! Everything was well planned. The weather was quite awful but the water and sponge stations made up for it. However, they could increase the number of stations in the last 10k which i found to be quite sparse
