This is a very hilly and challenging course, so don’t expect your best time! There are also a half and relay options. Registration fills up in the first week, so check out the dates in March. Event is last Sunday in July or 1st Sunday in August.
Climbs and Punishment!
I ran this race in 2017 and loved it. It is scary and intense which is exactly what I was looking for. The great part was that I even though I was unable to complete the course, everyone cheered me on as if I had. There was so much support throughout the course. I felt challenged but never alone and never unsafe.
I only finished 20 miles before I was pulled off course for health reasons.
