We Do Care Memorial Walk

The We Do Care Memorial Walk offers friends and family a chance to come together and pay special tribute to those no longer with us.  We Do Care members- known as Warriors and Kid Warriors will be honoring their spouses or their father, mother or caregiver that was lost at a young age. 95% of he children we serve have lost their Dad. We plan this event right around Father's Day to give our families a space to honor their special loved one while having a fun day together with others. We are going to have so much fun!!! Community members are welcome to join us to remember any loved one that has passed away. Make a team, choose a theme, get custom t-shirts.....just have fun. What you can expect:

An easy walk around the gorgeous Ames Estate in Easton.  Family friendly games and activities. We will make sure the kids have a blast! There will be memorial flag making to take home and other ways you can honor your person with your friends and family.  Food, drinks, and treats will be available on a first come first serve basis. 

REGISTRATION IS IMPORTANT so we can have enough FOOD, DRINKS, and surprises! Please register anyone who will be attending. Kids 21 and under are free--but please still register them for our supply count! 

Walkers are encouraged to gather online pledges in memory of their loved ones through our online walk site. The proceeds are raised to ensure that we will be able to continue and grow our support services and grief programming for widows and their children of Southeastern Massachusetts.  This is just one of many ways to support our organization.

The Memorial Walk will take place at Governor Oliver Ames Estate Community Park in North Easton, MA.  Walkers will be given the option to walk on a socially distant walk route.  The walk will start promptly at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a memorial celebration in the park.  Walkers can wear masks to follow covid protocols. 

$5 Registration Fee Per adult Walker (will count towards covering costs for event).  
Walkers have the option to fundraise through our online platform.  Teams are welcomed and encouraged and can also utilize our platform to reach fundraising goals.  To register as an Individual or Team Fundraiser, Click on "Donate".
