Tidewater Striders Scholarship 5K

THE STRIDERS SCHOLARSHIP  5K EVENT IS HELD AT THE VIRGINIA BEACH SPORTSPLEX!     YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO PRE-REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT   YOU WILL RECEIVE COMPLETE DETAILS WITH YOUR FINAL INSTRUCTIONS (VIA EMAIL)  BEFORE THE EVENT  

 

Strider Scholarship 5K Online registration closes at 7 am on race day. Tidewater Striders members receive a $5.00 discount through 11:59 pm on July 26th. Early registration is a $35 contribution to the Youth Scholarship Fund and provides an accurate timed 5K race with refreshments, music, and one raffle ticket good for great prizes. You must be present to win.  Additional raffle tickets will be available on race day for the Strider Scholarship 5K.   We will have a shirt option registration for $50 and receive a Race shirt & 5 Raffle tickets! you have until July 7th to sign up for the shirt option and order a shirt! after that, only non-shirt option will be available! 

Pre Race Packet Pick up will be held at Running etc VB on Friday, July 26th from 3-6pm 

 

COURSE: The 5K race starts in front of the Sportsplex and loops around the parking lot into the back trails that are gravel hard hard-packed grass & dirt back around the parking lot finishes inside the Sportsplex! one-mile loops around the parking lot and finishes inside the stadium THIS IS A STRIDER GRAND PRIX EVENT  THE SCHOLARSHIP 5K  IS ALSO AN HR SUPER GRAND PRIX EVENT HR Super Grand Prix Info Here: https://www.tidewaterstriders.com/pages/hr-super-grand-prix AFTER PARTY-  Inside the Sportsplex with beer and pizza! Huge raffle with awesome prizes from races to hotel night stays and sporting tickets with over $10,000 in prizes to be given out!   If you would like to donate an Item to our raffle, please contact Thomas at [email protected].     Strider Plus--- Use the NO SHIRT sign-up option for the 5K and/or 5K Competitive Walk to receive your discount. Strider Scholarship 5K Shirts are available as an additional purchase option in the web store when you register.   Volunteers needed -You can still participate and volunteer.  Use this Volunteer tab on this site to volunteer   Competitive Walking Division: If you register under the Competitive walking division you must walk the entire race! if you are going to run/ walk then you need to register in the 5K Division!
