Download them on your phone or print them out; Bring either a downloaded or printed ticket to your chosen location for event packet pick-up. Please note that to take part in the Share the Harvest,5K Race you must wear your race bib which will contain your RFID chip for timing purposes. WHERE ARE THE START AND FINISH AREAS? Start and Finish lines will be clearly marked as will be the course you will follow. Please look for race volunteers if you have any questions. WHAT CHARITY DO YOU SUPPORT? We are The Community Kitchen Program and our mission is to provide free culinary certification skills and education, along with workforce development to recent immigrants and other individuals who need a hand up to succeed. Our graduates work in the restaurant business as line cooks, servers and other skilled positions. Our principal sponsor is Galilee Ministries of East Charlotte. who provides space for our certified kitchen. Galilee Ministries of East Charlotte is dedicated to our Community Partners to provide direct services at the Galilee Center. Together we are serving 700+ people per month who are leveraging Galilee and Community Kitchen Program as a springboard for a new and better life through education, food resources, new skills, and empowerment. You can support this major fundraising event for The Community Kitchen Program as a cosponsor ($1000), a Patron ($500), or a Friend ($250). This can be a cash contribution or "in kind". WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? Adults and teens over the age of 14 years old can participate in a timed 5K race. This is also a fun run/ walk. Everyone is welcome regardless of age. WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH MY REGISTRATION? Your registration includes the 2024 edition participant packet including a T-shirt, a race bib, RFID Shoe Tag, and other event materials. The finishers will be receiving the 2024 edition medal. The top three girls and top three boys, aged 14-18 will receive medals during the award ceremony. PACKET PICKUP For pre-race packet pickup, you must have a photo I.D. Friday, May from 3-6 PM (3601 Central Ave, Charlotte NC, 28205)
