Sarah Anderson Live. Laugh. Run 5K

The Pi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi will be hosting its annual Sarah Anderson Live.Laugh.Run. 5K on April 22nd, 2023. Kappa Kappa Psi is a national honorary fraternity dedicated to serving college and university bands across the country.

In November of 2009, Sarah Anderson lost her life in a tragic car accident. Sarah was a sophomore studying to go to veterinarian school at Auburn University, a piccolo player in the Auburn University Marching Band, and a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi.

In honor of her memory, the Pi chapter will be using all proceeds to fund the Sarah Anderson Memorial Scholarship, a scholarship that is granted to a deserving band member at the end of each fall semester. The recipient will be someone who best exhibits the qualities of our fraternity and who shares the same positive attitude and love for life that Sarah Anderson had.

Registration is $25 and will be open until the day of the race, but you must register by March 25th to be guaranteed a shirt. Refreshments will be given out after the race.
