Run Wild 24 Hour Trail Run and Music Festival

Run Wild at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo on Friday, May 17th, 2024! Join Fort4Fitness and the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo for the first-ever 5K twilight run, INSIDE THE ZOO! The route will have multiple terrains: concrete, wooden bridges, grass and gravel. Be prepared for it all as you travel through Africa, Australia, through Stingray Bay and past the Peacock Cafe. Participants will receive a commemorative race shirt, timing bib, and a finisher medal.

Race routes for Wave 1 and Wave 2 are the same; the only difference is the start time. The Zoo paths are narrow in some areas, so there will be a participant cap. There will be NO on-site registration.

The Run Wild Post-Race Party will include food trucks*, Ambassador animals, music and face painting* and will take place in the Zoo parking lot just outside the main entrance. Spectators are welcome in this area as well as just inside the entrance to watch as participants come through the African tunnel but are not allowed past areas marked for participants only.

*May cost an additional fee.
