Ruff Race

Snowshoe’s Ruff Race 5K Hike/Run will take place on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 9:15 am at Village Plaza. Registration is $25.00 for all categories.

Event Info: Grab your four-legged, furry friends for a pawsitively exciting hike/run atop Cheat Mountain. You’ll start in the Village and work your way through our beautiful backcountry trails where pets are bound to find an infinite amount of new and exciting smells. Total distances will vary with some bail-out options along the way. (Pets not required to participate in race)

9 am | Athlete Meeting – Start/Finish

9:15 am | Race start for all RUNNER ONLY categories 5K.  There will be a mass start for hikers and runners, hand timed.

9:30 am | Race start for all RUNNER/DOG categories 5K.  There will be a mass start for human/dog teams, hand timed.

Awards | 30 Minutes after Race Finish in the Village Plaza.

REQUIREMENTS TO RACE

All competitors must sign a waiver prior to the event.  Please come to the registration Village Plaza during packet pick up hours to sign waiver.  Racers 17 or younger must have a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver.  Competitors are responsible for assessing the course to determine if their skill set is adequate to safely attempt the course.Race registration based on your age ON THE DATE OF THE EVENTSnowshoe Events reserves the right to alter classes, course, registration, prizing, or any other aspect of this event as necessary
