Join the Adventure!The Reading Hospital Road Run promises an exhilarating experience for all running enthusiasts. Hosted by The Friends of Reading Hospital, participants can choose between the invigorating distances of a 5K and a Half Marathon, set amidst picturesque neighborhoods and parklands surrounding the Reading Hospital in West Reading, PA.
Half Marathon
Embark on a journey through diverse terrain in the Half Marathon, starting at 8:00 am. This chip-timed race offers a rewarding experience, with participants receiving a short-sleeve wicking race shirt and finishers earning a custom race medal. Compete for cash prizes of $250, $150, and $75 for the top three overall in both Men's and Women's divisions. Age-group awards also recognize the top three finishers in designated categories, ranging from ages 19 and under to 70 and above. To conquer the course, maintain a pace to meet the 3 hour 30 minute cutoff time.
5K
The 5K race kicks off at 8:15 am, offering a thrilling yet accessible challenge. Participants will receive a race shirt, with cash prizes awarded to the top three overall finishers in both genders. Age-group accolades honor the top runners within a spectrum of age divisions, from 14 and under up to 70 and above.
