Macon Preemies Miracle 5K

LET'S CELEBRATE THE LITTLE MIRACLES OF LIFE! Macon Preemies is a local non-profit organization that supports the families of babies in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).  The NICU journey, no matter the time period, can be a lot for families to handle. Macon Preemies main focus is to create positive moments along the way. We will create those moments by creating care packages for those families while they are on their journey! The Macon Preemies organization will host this annual 5k in order to raise money to create care packages that are filled with celebratory, encouraging, and educational items.    WHAT ARE THE FACTS? Did you know that Georgia has a preterm birth rate of 11.5%, meaning the state is close to having 12% of all babies born early and ranks 45th nationwide. That adds up to more than 5,000 preterm births in the state per year. Help us make an impact on the families in middle Georgia that are apart of that number!    EVENT DETAILS Date: Saturday, May 13, 2023 Time: 8:00am-11am Race starts at 9am Location: Amerson Park Registration Fee: $35 per person MUST REGISTER BY MAY 7TH TO GUARANTEE A T-SHIRT BE INCLUDED IN REGISTRATION   PACKET PICK-UP
