Charity Spork 5K

On Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, the Charity Spork 5K will be held to raise money for Chautauqua Striders Athletic Programs. One of the programs that this race will support is the Youth Track and Field Development Program which is designed for ages 5 to 12 years. Children learn and develop basic athletic skills during June and July. Proceeds will also benefit the Chautauqua Striders Track Club, which gives athletes ages 13-18 an opportunity to participate in USA Track and Field events as well as regional, national, and international meets.

This 5K is organized by Brendan Devereaux and Juvenal Diaz-Cortes, two students from Frewsburg High School. Check-in and day-of registration will open at 8:30 AM and close at 9:45 AM. The race will start at 10:00 AM. The Charity Spork 5K will start and finish at the Chautauqua Avenue entrance of Lakewood Park. This 3.1-mile route runs through downtown Lakewood and offers scenic views of Chautauqua Lake. This course is perfect for runners at any level, as the entirety of the route is fairly flat.

Register by noon on Friday, March 8th to guarantee that you receive a shirt with the cost of registration.

If registered after NOON on March 8th to the Day of the Race (Saturday, March 23rd) -
