Uncover the Splendor of Lugano's Angioli Staircase: A Historic Race to the TopNestled in the breathtaking scenery of Lugano, the Angioli staircase is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered by international travelers. Adjacent to the stunning Church of Santa Maria degli Angioli, this Renaissance monument is a must-see for visitors to the Canton of Ticino and all of Switzerland. And now, this beautiful area is being studied and revitalized to showcase its connection between the lake and the upper part of the city, leading to the Tassino Park.

As you make your way up the Angioli staircase, you'll cover approximately 135 meters and conquer nearly 300 steps. This has become a popular running route for enthusiasts, but we challenge you to put yourself to the test along with others.

Participating in the race entails running the staircase at least twice, with your ascent times being recorded. The combined times will determine the top 10 women and top 10 men who will advance to the final round. Exciting prizes will be awarded to the top three in each category.

With limited spots available, be sure to secure your spot as one of the first 100 participants to register. Your registration includes a personalized bib number with a chip, an Arcobaleno ticket for transportation to and from Ticino, a post-race pasta party, and a wooden finisher medal.

After the race, we invite you to join us for a convivial moment at the nearby Restaurant-Bar Luini 6 at the LAC, located in the square with the same name. Here, you can refuel with a delicious pasta party while enjoying the company of fellow participants.
