The Dyfi X Swimrun takes you deep into the heart of Wales, where land and water merge into one relentless challenge. Covering 17km, this race consists of 3.5km swimming and 13.5km running, divided into six swims and seven runs. Inspired by the original ÖTILLÖ format, it demands resilience, teamwork, and grit as you navigate rugged trails and open water. This event is rooted in the rich history of the Dyfi Estuary, where for nearly 80 years, The Outward Bound Trust has shaped adventurers through wild endurance challenges. The Dyfi X Swimrun embraces this legacy, offering a raw, untamed experience for athletes seeking the ultimate test.

The Course This stunning course includes spectacular swimming and superb trail running along the Wales Coast Path. Total: 12km Each lap has a total of 1.3km of running and 700m of swimming. Run 1: 280m Swim 1: 520m Run 2: 900m Swim 2: 180m Run 3: 120m cut off time for each lap: 26 min 24 min 22 min 20 min 18 min Just go!
