WayMaker 5K Trail Race & 2 Mile Walk

The WayMaker 5K Trail Race and 2 Mile Fun Walk will host it's inaugural race around the beautiful Glenwood Lake. This event will benefit Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Southern West Virginia as they supply positive assistance to local school sports teams as well as provide inspirational and motivational assemblies at our schools. The 5K course will mostly be on a moderate trail that circles the lake with some paved road. The 2 Mile Fun Walk will be on paved roads and walking paths. There will be one water stop with bottled water on the course as well as great refreshments to help refuel at the end of the race. 

Top three overall male and female will receive awards as well as top three walkers. Age group awards in the 5K trail race for the top two male and female in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & up.

Race-day registration will open at 8:00 a.m. with race time at 9:00 a.m. *(Covid staggers may be in place. Please also observe any mask guidelines when in close proximity to others.
