UAB Veterans Day 5k - AL

Honor those who have served this Veteran's Day by participating your way. Runners, walkers, ruckers, strollers, and wheelchair racers all are welcome! Presented by UAB Veteran Services, this inaugural event directly benefits the UAB Veteran Relief Fund. This award aids veteran and dependent students who may need help purchasing books, finding housing, seeking medical care, and much more.

2023 marks the 105th anniversary of Armistice Day, later named Veterans Day, marking the end of WWII. We invite you to be a part of this event to help us honor our veterans and support the UAB student veteran population. 

This race will be run with chipped bibs, so race results will be available after the race is complete.

All 5K participants will receive a packet with a t-shirt and a finisher medal. 

Children 12 & under are FREE

Advanced packet pickup will be held Monday, November 6 through Thursday, November 9 at the UAB Hill Student Center (Suite 313).
