Hey Ladies! Due to unforeseen circumstances we have to cancel our event this year :( We will miss you all and hope to see you next year! In the meantime - we will be helping with this 5k, same day and time as ours. It also benefits a great cause - Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue! Please check them out. Its not a competitive 5k, but they will have prizes for top finishers and you can bring your dog! Our first six races were great successes and for that we thank YOU! TransformHer 5k is western North Carolina's only "Women's Only" 5k Run/Walk Event! It is held in Forest City (Rutherford County), NC. This event is open to females of every age and fitness level, from competitive runners to walkers including seniors and children! It is such an amazing morning of encouragement and empowerment! So invite your girlfriends, your sisters, your moms, your daughters, your coworkers, your Sunday School group, or any other ladies you know and join the fun! Event shirts are guaranteed with your registration through September 10! Local packet pickup will take place on Friday, October 13. Time and location of pickup to be announced closer to time. Shipping is available for non-local registrants and anyone else who registered before the shirt cut off date and cannot attend the pick-up event. The race kicks off at 8:00 am. This race is chip timed. Trophies will be awarded for Overall Top 3 and medals for top 3 in age groups. All registered participants are eligible for awards (children runner/walker times will take precedence over children in strollers times for award purposes).
