Tidewater Strider Marathon and Half Marathon Spring Edition

The Tidewater Striders Marathon and Half Marathon is known for being one of the flattest and fastest marathons in the country, as well as the fastest in Virginia. The course takes place on a closed 2-lane roadway at the Dismal Swamp Trail Park in Chesapeake. Both the full marathon and half marathon courses are USATF certified, making it a Boston Qualifying race. Participants can enjoy aid stations with water along the route and receive a medal and premium long sleeve shirt upon finishing. There will also be onsite hospitality, refreshments, and a post-race party. Top finishers will receive awards, and there are discounts available for club members and legacy runners. Additionally, there is an Elite Entry option for faster runners with prize money available. For those looking for an extra challenge, there is the option to participate in the Strider Spring Running Festival Challenge by running the Dismal Swamp 5 Miler on Saturday and the Half or Full Marathon on Sunday to receive a challenge medal.
