The Lagerhead Marathon and Half

This fifth annual event features a flat out and back course along the Prairie Spirit Trail, a compressed crushed limestone rails to trail course starting and ending in Ottawa, Kansas.  The course is a certified and follows the rail trail south from downtown Ottawa. We ask all marathon and half marathon finishers to complete their race by 3:00pm.  The top three male and female finishers in each event will receive awards, along with the top male and female masters finishers in each event. There are also awards for the top three finishers in each five-year age group (gender specific). All participants will receive a custom finishers medal. Participants can add a t-shirt ($8) to their registration. All participants 21 and over will also receive a craft beer (or craft soda) from local brewery Not Lost Brewing, which opens early for our runners and resides a short walk from the finish line. ID required to be shown at packet pickup. Join us for what may be the last area marathon/ half marathon of the year!
