EVENT: THE NORTH FACE RUFF RACE 5K (Hike/Run with your Pet) Get ready to embrace the great outdoors with the North Face Ruff Race 5K, a perfect blend of fun and athleticism for you and your furry companion. This event takes you through the scenic woods and charming Village of Snowshoe, offering a refreshing challenge whether you choose to run or hike. Adapt your pace to your preference as you conquer this engaging course with your pet by your side.

Make sure to test your pet's agility and obedience in the Doggie Agility Showdown following the race awards, where you'll give your four-legged friend a shot at the GOOD DOG! Award on our exhilarating Village Agility course.

SCHEDULE:
- Packet Pick Up: Village Tent
- Athlete Meeting: 9 am at the Village Tent
- Race Start:
- 9:15 am for solo runners
- 9:30 am for runners with pets at the Start line/archway
- RUFF RACE AWARDS: 30 minutes after race finish at Junction Stage
- DOGGIE AGILITY SHOWDOWN: Following awards at the Village Plaza

Registration is required, with a fee of $25.00 for all categories. Join us at Cheat Mountain for a pawsitively thrilling hike/run beginning in the Village and winding through our stunning backcountry trails. Encounter nature's beauty and allow your pets to explore enticing new scents. The course offers varied distances with exit routes available. Note: Pets are optional for participation.

Online registration is open, and all participants must sign a waiver during packet pick-up. Competitors under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver. Ensure you assess the course to match your skill level. Snowshoe Events reserves the right to modify any aspect of the event if needed.
