Raven Athletes of Honor 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

On Saturday, August 19th, the Ravenna School District in partnership withFitChicks INC. are hosting the first annual Athletes of Honor 5K and One Mile Fun Run/Walk  This is the culminating event of the Raven Athletes of Honor week, which kicks off Thursday evening with the Ravenna/Kent football game, Friday with the induction ceremony, and Saturday’s race. 

        All proceeds from this event will be used to enhance learning opportunities and experiences for our Ravenna students. With that being said,  community support is vital to the success of this event. All proceeds, profits, and donations will be given  directly to our students in the form of curriculum resources, funding for field trips and other exploratory opportunities that they would otherwise not have access to. 

     The race will start at Ravenna High School's unique blue track, where there will be music, vendors, and other fun surprises for adults and kids alike! Please come out and run or walk with us to show you support for the Ravenna School District's students.
