Preble County 5k Boots, Blues & Beer Bash

Come join us for a hike through history while enjoying a celebration of life!  This first event, the Preble County 5k Boots, Blues & Beer Bash, is brought to you by the Pink Ribbon Girls.  The event will take place at the Preble County Historical Society in Eaton, Ohio.  Experience the thrill of nature by doing a 5k hike through the various trails system at PCHS and then join us at their spectacular outdoor amphitheater for an evening of blues music by none other than Preble County’s own Blue Lou & The Mafia.  Vendors available also to purchase food and beer.  Have that special fur baby also that likes to hike?  Dogs are welcomed on this hike as long as on a leash.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 10th.  Pre-registration packet pickup begins at 3:30pm and the Hike / Run starts at 5:00pm. Don’t forget to wear good hiking or running shoes and be prepared to cross water/small creek.  Your feet may get wet.  Due to the trail being narrow in some areas, those wanting to race it should be at the front of the when we start the race. 
Registration Fee is $40, which includes participation in the hike, entry to the concert, and event t-shirt for all those registered by August 25.  For those who register after August 25, a limited number of extra shirts available for sale on the day of the event.
