Paper Chase 5K

The Paper Chase 5K, Presented by the EZBO Foundation, raises funds to support teachers and children with free supplies through Free 2 Teach. Free 2 Teach, a non-profit in Madison County, Alabama, supports public school students and school teachers by giving away supplies and resources for FREE. The race brings together teachers, administrators, students and community members all with the aim of supporting education in our county. Come out and join us on February 24, 2024 in downtown Huntsville. We are excited to come together as a community and support teachers and students! The school with the most runners (family, supporters, staff, friends etc) will win $1,500 for their school library and/or technology needs! The school in second place will earn $500! Everyone is a winner however, because every time a teacher shops with us, they leave with an average $575 in their carts! Thank you for supporting this endeavor. 

Packet Pick-Up will be at Fleet Feet Sports in Jones Valley on February 23, 2024. Come by anytime between 10am and 7pm to get your packet and make any purchases you need to be race-ready! 

The course winds through beautiful downtown Huntsville and is a partial loop certified with USATF (code: AL18003JE). Runners of all levels are invited as are walkers. This is a great way to run with your family and friends in a casual and fun environment. Due to insurance restrictions, strollers are not permitted on the course.
