A Combat Veteran’s Hope (ACVH) will be hosting its 4th Annual Operation HOPE 8k at 8a on Saturday May 6, 2023, once again at Cutler Park in Visalia. Money raised from this event will go to continue the ACVH mission of “empowering Combat Veterans through engagement with each other and their local community.”

ACVH is a Visalia-based federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit that began in 2015, as there was an unmet need in the Central Valley to serve all our Combat Veterans of every generation. We hold events every month that bring together our clientele throughout Central California. These events and programs range from our Warfighter Athletics program (softball and volleyball teams) and monthly dinners at a local restaurant, to our annual family holiday events like our Christmas celebration or Summer Fun at one of the local waterparks in Fresno.

All our events are at no cost to our Veterans – we operate solely off grants and donations received from our community and corporate sponsors. Boasting an all-volunteer staff, we work with other businesses and Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) to bring about new programs such as our partnership with California Service Dog Academy and Central California Adaptive Sports Center to ensure every generation of Combat Veterans successfully integrates back into their local community.

Packet Pickup: Friday May 5th, 4p-7pm at the Visalia Veterans Memorial Building (609 W Center Ave, Visalia 93277)

Race Day Packet Pickup: Cutler Park from 6:30am-8:00am

Virtual Runners: You may pick up packet on May 6th or if you are out of the area, let us know and we'll get that mailed out to you!
