Medvednica trail

The Medvednica Mountain represents a rare example of the existence of a nature park within the capital city of a country. Today, Medvednica is used for sports purposes (such as the skiing race Snow Queen Trophy) and recreational activities (hiking, mountain biking, running).

Just 10 km away from the main city square, there is a beautiful trail course offering ideal conditions for trail running. The trail encompasses a wide area of Medvednica, leading runners to the most important and the most beautiful spots of the mountain.
Zagreb has great potential for organizing a large-scale trail race, considering it is the capital of Croatia and home to the largest number of Croatian trail runners.
