Labor Your Legs Fun Run and Walk - Topeka, KS

Join us for the FREE 16th Annual Labor Your Legs Fun Run and Walk.  Labor Day (Sept. 2, 2024) is a great way to start your fitness journey for the Fall. This year the Sunflower Striders Running Club will be showcasing the Levee trail in the NOTO Arts and Entertainment District.  The run will start and end at the Great Overland Train Station a short distance from the entrance to the Levee.  Participants will run west on an out and back course on the Parks and Recreation Levee trail (part of the new vision for the development of the Riverfront).  The run will start at 8 am and check-in will open at 7:30. Participants can choose their distance.  The trail will be marked for 1 mile, 5K and 10K distances and liquid will be available on the course at the turn around spots (1.5 mile, 3 mile).  There will be a clock for those wanting to see their times.  Stay afterwards and enjoy some food and the train station museum as well as the NOTO shops and restaurants.
