This family-friendly events raise awareness to the tragedy of suicide, help reduce the stigma associated with depression and mental illness, educate the community about available services, support local suicide prevention programs, and provide a safe place to heal for those who have lost loved ones to suicide as a community.

We are so excited to be at the Edoff Bandshell at Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA. It's where we had held the race before 2020. This year it will be a 5K (3.1 mile) race around the lake. We added the Move to the event because it will include other activities besides walking and running.) We will present demonstration of various kinds of movement including Tai Chi, Yoga as well some exciting other movement activities for those who are not running or walking.

Hear our MC make announcements and many surprises! The 5K fun run starts at 9:30 am.

We are also adjusting the fees for new participants to a “pay what you can” model with a suggested donation of $35 — but we welcome any amount and are most excited about you getting your friends and family involved!

Registration does not include a t-shirt. Limited t-shirts are available for $35.
