Hailey's Forever 8

Hailey's Forever 8 will be held on Saturday May 20'th 2023 at the Angela Huey Park in Kersey PA in memory of Hailey Mae Matheson. In 2020 eight-year-old Hailey passed away after a tragic accident. Hailey's life continues on in memory and will forever impact our community through a scholarship set up by her family.  All proceeds from this race will be directed into the Hailey Matheson Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Elk County Community Foundation. The scholarship will be awarded for the first time this year to a graduating senior in our community. Hailey's Forever 8 will consist of an 8K run or 5K walk through beautiful country roads in Kersey PA. There will be a fun relay for kids at the park. Tickets can be purchased at the event for basket raffle.
