GSUL Juneteenth Jubilee 2.5-mile Run/Walk

Join us for our annual Juneteenth Jubilee 2.5-mile Run/Walk. The event honors June 19, 1865, the date federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to ensure all enslaved people were freed. The 2.5 miles signifies the time between the Emancipation Proclamation signing and this historic date. This fun event is a great way to socialize, get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and learn about the history of Juneteenth. Kids under 12 are FREE!! 

The 2.5-mile run/walk will be held on Saturday, June 15th at William Land Park starting at 8:00 a.m.
