Chase the Dreidel 5K

Oy vey! How fast can a dreidel run?

Come find out on Sunday, December 08 at 4 pm as our life-sized dreidel spins down the streets of St. Petersburg and the Pinellas Trail on a flat, chip-timed course.  Chase the Dreidel is pure fun – everyone is welcome! 

Registrants receive a race shirt, a medal and a super potato latke buffet. Walkers and strollers welcome.  A fun run for youngsters under 11. Not running? Buy a food-only wristband at the race for just $5 • No RSVP required!

Chase the Dreidel also offers a virtual 5K option. Just lace up anywhere and still receive the race t-shirt!

Early Race registration is $36 in advance and $55 on race day. 

Race Day Information

2:30 pm – Check-in and packet pickup opens at Cong. B’nai Israel, 300 58th St. North in St Pete. (There is no early packet pickup or check-in.)
4:00pm – Welcoming ceremony begins outdoors in front of Cong. B’nai Israel.
Follow the signs to free parking around the back of the building.
$55 on-site registration is open during packet pick up so spread the word – last-minute runners welcome!
Race begins after Opening ceremony and National Anthem! The starting line is at the intersection of 4th Ave N and 59th St North. The race finishes in front of the synagogue.
This race will run rain-or-shine.
Food-only wrist bands are available on site for $5 – no reservations required.
4:45pm - Latke party begins inside the synagogue social hall with awards presentation.
