Blues On Barton

We have come to the difficult decision, that this year will be the last Blues on Barton 5k/Kid Fun Run and Party. We will continue our fundraiser efforts next year with smaller events like the Bowling League and the Golf Scramble. We have been putting this event on since 2011, we helped raise almost a quarter of a million dollars for  local families in need. The time and effort it takes to put this event on year in and year out, as well as the ever increasing costs as the event grew from 30 people to several hundred attending each and every year is just becoming too much for us to do. Over the last decade plus of doing this, we’ve met wonderful neighbors, amazing volunteers and sponsors, made lifelong friendships, and shared the sadness of losing friends and family to horrible illnesses like cancer.
We hope to see as many of you as possible on August 6th for the 5K and Kid fun run. It truly was A Good Run
