Bikes, Brews, & Omelettes Two!

 

2 Days - 200 Miles - 2 Locations

 

Back-to-back rides The Bayou Teche Brewing Bike Bash and The Giant Omelette Celebration Ride are now combined under one name to form one great event!

 

This weekend is packed with craft beer, live music, a GIANT omelette, and two hundred miles of the best cycling Acadiana has to offer. Learn more about this event at www.laTRAIL.org/bbot/

Two great riding venues, choose one or both and get the most out of the weekend.  Each there are a variety of distances starting from 10 miles and upto 100 miles.  Ride as a family or get some base training in place and crank out 200 miles or 200km in one weekend.

On Saturday at the Youngsville Sports complex when the ride finishes complimentary entry into the VFW Gumbo Cookoff.

On Sunday the ride is in conjunction with the Giant Omelette Celebration in Abbeville, LA  starting from the Abbeville Courthouse and heading South you can enjoy some of the flatest part of the state.  If you are riding the 62 mile routes or longer you will have the opportunity to corss over the Intracoastal Bridge and get a good climb in before heading to Stelly Grocery in Pecan Island for some boudin, bananas and other treats.
