Three Mounds' Run

Almost 1/4 of the race leads the participants along unpaved roads and paths. The difference in altitude reaches 160 m. Due to the diversity of terrain, the race has been classified as “Anglo-Saxon” in the international classification, in which the route leads once up and down, as opposed to the “Alpine” races, where the route is mostly only climbing.

Along the entire route, the participants can see that Krakow offers not only monuments and modern infrastructure but also charming landscapes and nature. Interestingly, it is the only mountain race in Poland that leads through the centre of a large city.

Three Mounds’ Run together with the Cracovia Marathon and the Cracovia Royal Half Marathon is part of the Royal Running Triad. Persons who manage to complete all three of the aforementioned events during the running season are honored with special prizes.
