Ashland County Young Life Turkey Trot and Doughnut Mile

Ashland County Young Life will be hosting the 1st ever 5k turkey trot/doughnut mile at Freer Field in Ashland, OH on Thursday, November 23rd. The 5k will begin at 8:30 a.m. on the historic Ashland Invite course. Each participant will receive a long sleeve shirt. At 9:15 a.m. will be the Doughnut mile. At the start,.25 mark, .5 mark, and the .75 mark each runner will eat 4 mini doughnuts. For every doughnut eaten you will receive 4 seconds off your time. The fastest male and female to the .5 marker will receive 10 seconds off your time and the best costume will receive 10 seconds of your time. The 5k will be $25, the doughnut run will be $10 and to do both the 5k and doughnut run will be $30. All proceeds to the race will go to Ashland County Young Life(A high school youth ministry).  We hope to see you at one of the 1st turkey trots in Ashland County on classic cross country course with a once in a lifetime doughnut mile!!
